We love books, and we love to share books with others! Our bookstore's mission is to build community around books. We started at the Salida Farmers’ Market in the summer and fall of 2023 and have continued at the holiday market in early winter, and have community reading and author events all year round. Check out our Events Page for details.

We support authors residing in and visiting Salida and the surrounding region. We have hosted Ted Conover, Ben Goldfarb, Pam Houston, and many more local authors at the Farmers’ Market.

When we weren’t at the markets, we were still available for book sales but it became difficult to get folks the books they needed; we were constantly arranging picks up or delivers. Other ways to support us are through our have Bookshop.org page, which supports us through a percent of sales and delivers right to you! In addition, you can purchase audiobooks through us on libro.fm.

We hope you will continue to keep us in mind for all your book needs. We have been enjoying this venture and are excited for this new chapter with our brick-and-mortar to have more chances to connect with you.
